Union Public Service Commission announces final results of Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF Assistant Commandant) Examination, 2023
On the basis of the results of the written part of the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandant) Examination, 2023 conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on August 6, 2023 and the interview for the Personality Test conducted from 13.05.2024 to 14.06.2024, the list of candidates for recruitment to the post of Assistant Commandant (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (BSF) is as follows: Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
A total of 312 candidates have been recommended for recruitment as per the following break-ups:-
Final selection/appointment of recommended candidates will depend on the final outcome of writ petition (Civil) No. 5877/2022 filed by Diwakar Pandey & ORS. vs. Ministry of Home Affairs and ORS. In the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.

The results of 04 candidates have been kept under sealed cover on the orders of hon'ble Delhi High Court
The Government shall provide appointments as per the number of posts available in various services and under the candidates fulfilling all the prescribed eligibility conditions/provisions contained in the Rules for examination and wherever required, the verification shall be satisfactorily completed. Various services will be allotted as per merit and priority of the services rendered by the candidates.
