Today, Chouhan conducted an aerial survey of Budameru, reservoirs and submerged areas of the city, Jakkampudi Dairy Factory, Kandrika, Ajit Singh Nagar and Ambapuram in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Chouhan also inspected the Prakasam barrage dam damaged due to heavy rains and the fields built on the Krishna river. Apart from this, Chouhan met the common people, farmer brothers and sisters affected by the floods and interacted with them. Speaking on the occasion, Chouhan said that the Centre and the state governments are working day and night to normalise the situation and provide relief to the people.

The Union minister reached Jakkampudi in Vijayawada and went into the water and interacted with the locals and listened to their problems. Chouhan first boarded a lifeboat in the flood-affected areas and visited the entire area and during this time he interacted with ndrf teams and officials and took information about the submerged areas. Chouhan then left the boat and entered the water and spoke to the locals. Meanwhile, the Union Minister said that the central government is monitoring the flood situation. Therefore, the Central Government will fully cooperate with the State Government and both the Central Government and the State Government together will bring the people out of this crisis. Damage assessment work has started:
Mr. Chouhan said that the crop has also been badly damaged and flowers are cultivated here, turmeric is cultivated, all the crops have been damaged.
