The Home Minister and the Minister of Cooperatives expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, for taking the historic decision.
The Union Cabinet has approved the Rs 2,642 crore Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay multi-tracking project in Varanasi, which includes construction of a rail and road bridge over river Ganga
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, is dedicated to the welfare of farmers and the Union Cabinet under his leadership today approved the increase in MSP of Rabi crops for the 2025-26 season
The MSP of rapeseed and mustard has increased by the highest by Rs 300 per quintal, while for pulses (masoor) there has been a historic increase of Rs 275 per quintal.
This increased MSP will increase the income of farmers and further enrich our farmers.
The Cabinet announced an additional 3% increase in dearness allowance (DA) of central government employees and dearness relief (DR) of pensioners during the festive season.

Shri Amit Shah said that the Union Cabinet, under the leadership of The Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, has approved the Varanasi-Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Multi-Tracking Project at a cost of Rs. 2,642 crore, which includes construction of a rail and road bridge over river Ganga. The rail network will be increased by 30 km by this project. The Union Home Minister said that he is grateful to Prime Minister Modiji for continuously promoting connectivity in the country.
