The Department of Revenue (DoR) of the Ministry of Finance is observing the special drive 4.0 from October 2 to 31, 2024, which focuses on resolving pending cases and ensuring transparency (transparency) of office premises.

In 2023, during the pre-special campaign 3.0, the DoR disposed of a total of 12 pending references, 110 public grievances and 110 public grievances petitions from members of Parliament. Apart from this, a total of 580 physical files have been deleted after review. Apart from this, a revenue of Rs. 9600/- was also collected with the disposal of scrap. The campaign has resulted in an overall improvement in the office environment with better space management and a healthy working environment.

This year too, the DoR has chalked out a comprehensive plan for pendency clearing, cleanliness, space management, beautification of offices and review and disposal of old files.

The hanging phase, also known as phase II, is the disposal of all the pending soil identified. read more
