Namrata Rajkumar, Head of Movie Content Partnership, YouTube, Vijay Koshy, President, The Viral Fever (TVF) Productions, Jatish Suvarna, Director, Marketing and Communications, GoPro India, Yash Rane, chef-turned-photographer, Kashmir-based athlete and adventure filmmaker Reeza Ali were among those who participated in the panel discussion. It was helmed by CBFC actor, producer and member Vani Tripathi.

Talking about the opportunities for new content creators on YouTube , Namrata Rajkumar said, “YouTube is a platform that has the ability to create content in multiple formats such as short, long and very long.

From rural to urban areas, you can watch many success stories on YouTube. For instance

Platforms like YouTube have actually democratised content creation because they enable anyone from anywhere to become a producer. From rural to urban areas, you can watch many success stories on YouTube. For instance , a village in Kerala has a family man who nhas over 50 million subscribers, we have farmers as content creators, truck drivers who have a large number of followers. IMDB has 11 tv shows with the highest ratings in India

In this discussion, Vijay Koshy spoke about the story of his production house – TVF. “TVF’s journey started with ‘Big No’ from all reputed production houses. We then decided to use YouTube as a platform and created our own channels on it. Today, IMDB has 11 tv shows with the highest ratings in India. Seven of them have been made by TVF and five of them are YouTube shows only. Referring to the web series – Panchayat – he appealed to the new makers to create unique Indian content to attract more Indian audiences.
