The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that severe heat wave conditions will continue over east India till May 2 and over south peninsular India till May 3 and gradually improve thereafter.
Heat wave conditions are likely to continue over Maharashtra and Gujarat for the next five days and over central India from May 3 to 5
There is a possibility of heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms in northeast India till 2nd
