Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi, Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises will preside over the ‘Udyami Bharat – MSME Day’ programme. The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MoMSME) will celebrate ‘Entrepreneur India-MSME Day’ on August 27.

The programme provides an opportunity to key stakeholders, including policymakers, large companies, financial institutions and the international community

The programme provides an opportunity to key stakeholders, including policymakers, large companies, financial institutions and the international community, to discuss and exchange the legal reforms required in the MSME Act for the growth and sustainability of MSMEs. As part of the legal reforms in the Act, the Ministry is committed to making the Act more inclusive, comprehensive and holistic under its purview. The aim of the proposed legal reform is to link the MSMED Act with the transformative changes that have taken place in the economic and technical sectors since the enactment of the MSMED Act in 2006.

The event will have four sessions, including reduction in case costs for MSMEs, presentations on IIAC (Managing Micro and Small Enterprise Arbitration), presentations on the use of Bhasini’s AI software for MSE arbitration, plenary session – Legal Reforms in the MSMED Act, 2006.

Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Jitan Ram Manjhi, Minister of State for MSME Ms. Shobha Karandlaje and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Law & Justice Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal will address the dignitaries and participants who attended the event. Union Minister of MSME and Minister of State for MSME will dedicate to the nation the MSME Team Initiative and Yashaswini Abhiyan. MoUs will be exchanged between the MSME Ministry and the Governments of Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra. Apart from this, MoUs will be exchanged between IIAC and Bhasini, NSIC and ONDC and SIDBI and partner financial institutions. On the occasion of Udyogi Bharat, the Ministry reiterated its collective commitment to promote a strong and sustainable MSME ecosystem. read more
