Publication “Payroll Reporting in India: An Employment Perspective
Using information on the number of subscribers who have subscribed to three major schemes namely Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) Scheme, Employees’ State Insurance (ESI) Scheme and National Pension Scheme (NPS), the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation has been publishing statistics related to employment in the formal sector since September 2017.
