The Hon'ble President arrived at INS Hansa (Naval Air Station, Goa) on 24th November
The Hon’ble President arrived at INS Hansa (Naval Air Station, Goa) on 24th November and was received by Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi and Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command, Vice Admiral Sanjay J Singh. A 150-member ceremonial ‘guard of honour’ was also paraded upon his arrival.
The Hon’ble President then commissioned the indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, operating in a company of 15 frontline warships and submarines of the Indian Navy, at sea near Goa.
