PM’s meeting with UK PM on the sidelines of G7 Summit
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today held a bilateral meeting with The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, H.E. Mr. Rishi Sunak, on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Appulia, Italy. For the third time in a row, Prime Minister Sunak congratulated the Prime Minister. The two leaders reiterated the joint commitment of the two countries to further strengthen bilateral relations.
The leaders discussed the implementation of the Roadmap 2030
The leaders discussed the implementation of the Roadmap 2030 and expressed happiness about the progress made in all areas of comprehensive strategic partnership, including regular high-level political consultations, defence and security, trade and economic cooperation, critical and high-tech sectors and people-to-people ties. They expressed satisfaction over the progress made in the free trade agreement talks between the two countries. The two leaders also discussed regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest.
