This morning when I was preparing to come from Delhi to Srinagar. So just like that, my mind was full of enthusiasm. And I was wondering why there is so much enthusiasm in my mind today. So I noticed two reasons. Well, there’s a third reason. Why have I lived and worked here for a long time, so I am familiar with very old people. There has been a very deep connection with different areas. So it’s very natural for memories to be fresh. But two reasons have made it very natural for me. When the aspiration is high, the expectations of the people from the government also increase very much. After judging us on these criteria, for the third time people have elected our government. It does not work through social media, it does not happen through speeches, and the country has seen the performance that it experienced.

And because of that instability, due to uncertainty, when it was time for India to take off, we got grounded. We suffered a lot for the country. Leaving that phase behind, India has now entered a new era of stable government. This has strengthened our democracy. And you people have played a very big role in strengthening democracy. The vision of humanity, democracy and Kashmiriyat that Atal ji had given, we are seeing it turning into reality today. In this election, you have won democracy. You have broken the record of the last 35-40 years. This shows that the youth of this place, Jamhooriyat.

After independence, our daughters and other weaker sections of the society were deprived of their rights. Our government has given rights and opportunities to everyone by following the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas. Refugees from Pakistan, our Valmiki community and families of sanitation workers have got the right to vote in local bodies elections for the first time. The years-old demand for the Valmiki community to get the benefit of the SC category has been fulfilled. For the first time, seats have been reserved in the assembly for the ST community. ‘Paddari tribe’, ‘Pahari ethnic group’, ‘Gadda Brahmin’ and ‘Koli’ all these communities have also been given ST status. OBC reservation has been implemented for the first time in panchayats, municipalities and municipal corporations. What is the sense of surrender to the Constitution? What is important in the letter & spirit of the Constitution? The Constitution gives an opportunity to change the lives of 140 crore countrymen, to give them rights, to make them partners. But first such a great value of the Constitution.

The change that we are witnessing in the Kashmir valley, the whole world is seeing it today. I see the people who came here in the G-20 group. Whoever the people of those countries meet, they keep praising Kashmir too. The way hospitality has been done, great praise is praised. Today, when an international event like G-20 is held in Srinagar, every Kashmiri is filled with pride. Today, when our children play and play at Lal Chowk till late in the evening, every Indian is filled with joy. Today, when there is a glow in the cinema halls and markets, everyone’s faces bloom. I remember those pictures from a few days ago, when there was a tremendous show of sports cars on the banks of Dal Lake. The whole world saw how far our Kashmir has progressed, now new records of tourism are discussed here. And tomorrow is the International Yoga Day. That is also going to be the reason for the attraction of tourists. Last year, as told by Manoj ji, more than 2 crore tourists have come here in Jammu and Kashmir. This speeds up the employment of local people, accelerates employment.

Projects worth Rs 1800 crore have also been started for agriculture and allied sectors. I congratulate the people of Jammu and Kashmir for these projects. I would also like to congratulate the state administration here that they are also making recruitments in government jobs at a rapid pace. In the last 5 years, about 40 thousand government recruitments have been done. At present, about two thousand youth have received employment letters in this program itself. Lakhs of crores of investment in Kashmir are also creating thousands of new jobs for the local youth

Be it road and rail connectivity, infrastructure related to education and health, or electricity and water, large scale work is being done in Jammu and Kashmir on every front. Thousands of kilometers of new roads have been built here under the PM Rural Road Scheme. New national highways and expressways are being built in Jammu and Kashmir. India is moving towards becoming a major power in the world. Jammu and Kashmir has a lot of potential in both these sectors
In tourism and sports, India is moving towards becoming a major power in the world. Jammu and Kashmir has a lot of potential in both these sectors. Today, excellent sports infrastructure is being built in every district of Jammu and Kashmir. About 100 centers of Khelo India are being built here. About 4,500 youth of Jammu and Kashmir are being trained for national and international competitions. This figure is huge. In the case of winter sports, Jammu and Kashmir is becoming the capital of India. More than 800 players from all over the country have participated in the fourth Khelo India Winter Games which was held here in February. Such events will create new possibilities for international sports events here in the future.
