National Commission for Minorities organises 'Sarvadharma Samvad' on janmashtami

The National Commission for Minorities (NCM) organised ‘Sarvadharma Samvad’ on August 27, 2024, in New Delhi on the occasion of Janmashtami. Minister for Minority Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju, Minister of State for Transport Shri Harsh Malhotra, Chairman of NCM Shri Iqbal Singh Lalpura and Vice Chairman of NCM Shri Kersi Kaikhuru Devu participated in the meeting.
On this occasion, Dr. Satyanarayan Jatia, Member of the Election Committee of the Central Parliamentary Board and BJP, Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal, Global Ambassador for World Cancer Treatment, UK-based (NRI), Cleric Baba Naunihal Singh, Baba Gurpreet Singh (a descendant of the Panch Pyara family), Goswami Sushil Ji Maharaj, Swami Chander Sharma, Swami Chander Sharma, Smt. Mr. Talwinder Singh Marwah (former MLA). Global Punjabi Association Shri Parvinder Singh, Former Vice Chancellor of Guru Kashi University Dr. Jaswinder Singh Dhillon,Shri Kapil Khanna, Social Worker Shri Avinash Jaiswal, Shri Varinder Sachdev, Dr. Komal Vasishtha, Smt. Kamaljit Kaur, Shri Goldie Singh, Shri Kulwinder Singh, Shri Jatinder Singh Sahni, Mohammed. Riaz was also present. Apart from this, hundreds of people from the minority community also attended the meeting.

In the meeting, speakers of various minority communities gave the message of brotherhood and spoke about the need to work for inclusion and development of all communities in the government’s call for ‘Sabka Sath  Sabka Vikas’a , while celebrating all festivals, all-religion harmony. read more
