. Mansukh Mandaviya to hold ‘Sushasan Padyatra’ in Vadnagar to mark Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s 100th birth anniversary

As part of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Constitution of India, Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports and Labour and Employment, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya will take out a good governance march at Vadnagar in Gujarat on December 24, 2024 to commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Wadnagar, the birthplace of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has historical significance and adds a unique cultural dimension to the celebrations.

More than 15,000 MY India Youth Volunteers from local universities, colleges, NGOs and NGOs will actively participate in the march. Other senior ministers of the central and state governments are expected to participate in the historic march. In order to further deepen the relationship of young citizens, a number of activities have been planned, namely:

My India Registration Campaign: Encouraging youth to join the campaign of a progressive and developed India

Themeed selfie point: A specially designed place to capture memorable moments

Programme: Cultural programmes, educational exhibitions and seminars to highlight the contribution of Atal Bihari Vajpayee to India’s democratic values

Sanitation and Volunteer Driven Initiatives: Various volunteer-led campaigns such as swachhata abhiyan, four drives and medical camps were organized as pre-cursors of the main programme

Celebration of historic good governance projects and initiatives: The march will highlight various historical projects of the state

This is the fourth of the 12 padayatras that Dr. Mandaviya will undertake over a year, each focusing on a unique theme to inspire the young generation and celebrate India’s rich heritage. The 8-km-long march will begin and end from the Tanari temple
