the competence of nurses within the realm of leadership, improvements in nursing education, the health care digitalization influence, the issue of the burnout of nurses and other topics. The chief guest granted certificates of appreciation to the panelists and gave a nod to Korean Nursing Service Officers for their distinguished services.

Realizing the importance of this year’s theme, “Knowledge for Dignity”, the Army Hospital (R and R) management organized a special event to celebrate the International Nurse’s Day 2024 on 11th of May 2024. This event was arranged and held at the Ayurvigyan Auditorium, Army Hospital on 11th of May 202The event was honored by the Maj Gen Kanwarjit Singh, who is the officiating commander at Army Hospital (R&R) acted as the Chief Guest. Gen Sheena P D, the Matron-in-Chief, also came to attend the event and graced the event with her warm presence.

Demonstrated internationally on the observance of the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, International Nurses Day is one of the most important events commemorating the sacrifices of nurses to the society. During this year, the International Council of Nurses has adopted the theme called ‘Our Nurses our Future: Nurses the Economic Power to Care,’ which was publicly announced by Maj Gen I D Flora as the Additional Director General of Military Nursing Services. The day’s events included a thought-provoking debate on ‘Artificial Intelligence in Nursing: Both the play named “Hamlet, or why Young Boys Fear Women” by William Shakespeare and the panel discussion will be about different topics that revolve around theme.

Competent members of the panel exemplified thought-provoking dialogue regarding the obstacles that exist in nursing, approaches for nurse empowerment, the competence of nurses within the realm of leadership, improvements in nursing education, the health care digitalization influence, the issue of the burnout of nurses and other topics. The chief guest granted certificates of appreciation to the panelists and gave a nod to Korean Nursing Service Officers for their distinguished services. Capt Deepa Shajan remarkably got the Pushpnaranjan Award for her excellent communal and voluntary works.

In his speech, the Chief guest, emphasized the need of standardizing reason and ethics of Military nursing officers, he underscored the heroism by these officers who have served for our independents. He acknowledged the determination of the MNS Officers who never giving up and are always on a go with no time to relax delivering patients’ needs with no wavering mercy and sympathy. Such highlighting relays the significant contribution of nurses to healthcare and draws attention to the sustainable dedication of nurses to provide outstanding care to the patients.
