‘Vishakshit Bharat 2047’ is an initiative aimed at realising India’s aspirations of becoming a developed nation by the centenary of independence.
The “Vishisht Bharat Ambassador-Youth Connectivity” programme is designed with an aim to promote youth engagement and leadership in India’s developmental transformation to further this goal of a developed India by 2047 among the youth. The event is organised to discuss the concept of a protected India with the younger generation in educational institutions across India. The youth also get an opportunity to interact with eminent speakers.
Interactions with college students contribute significantly to understanding the sense of responsibility in nation building through various educational and empirical means.
Through this program, emphasis is laid on values such as national identity, citizen engagement, social cohesion, human capital development, critical thinking and empowerment, so that students are better prepared to contribute.
The MY Bharat Portal is a comprehensive enabling mechanism driven by technology for youth development and youth-led development through ‘Kartavya Bodh’ and ‘Seva Bhav’ during the Amrut period.
In addition, MY India provides an institutional mechanism to provide students with problem-solving skills, leadership skills through experiential learning opportunities and voluntary initiatives.
Programmes such as youth volunteer activities, mega events, experiential learning programmes (ELPs), financial literacy programmes, mentorship programmes, etc. are also organised through the MY Bharat Digital Platform. The programme’s photo-video is also uploaded by volunteers which can be seen by everyone for awareness and betterment of the society. Such a system encourages more and more youngsters to participate in the initiative and reap benefits.
