India-Kenya bilateral meeting held for cooperation in the field of personnel administration and governance.

Bilateral discussions led by Secretary DARPG and Director General KSG with emphasis on capacity building programme

The National Centre of Good Governance (NCGG) – Kenya School of Governance (KSG) will work on capacity building of kenyan senior officers at the NCGG in Mussoorie.


Shri V. Srinivas, Secretary, Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Government of India, called on Professor Nour Mohammed, Director General, Kenya School of Governance, through video conferencing on 14 May 2024. The meeting was attended by directors of DARPG, National Centre for Good Governance, Indian High Commission to Kenya on behalf of India and KSG on behalf of Kenya.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the importance of enhancing India-Kenya bilateral cooperation in the areas of personnel administration and governance, with emphasis on skill development programmes through the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) and Kenya School of Governance (KSG). The modalities of cooperation between the NCGG and KSG were discussed in the bilateral meeting. Areas of cooperation have been envisaged to enhance the capacity of kenyan senior officials at the NCGG. The Indian side presented the progress made by the Government of India in implementing the policy of “Maximum Governance – Minimum Dung.
