Headquarters Integrated Defence Personnel to conduct first Joint Management Review and Evaluation (Core) Programme for Senior Officers of Tri-Services

For the first time, the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) is conducting a Joint Management Review and Evaluation (Core) programme for senior officers of the tri-services at USI, New Delhi from September 9 to 13. The five-day development-orientation programme has been prepared for major generals and equivalent officers of the three services, including officials from the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs.

The objective of the core programme is to promote collaboration and integration and enhance cooperation and coordination among various services to create a comprehensive understanding of the management environment. The event will feature panel discussions and lectures by 30 eminent speakers and subject matter experts from different fields. Topics such as the changing nature of war, globalization and interconnection, lessons from the current ongoing conflicts in the world, the impact of non-dynamic warfare, cyber and information warfare, and adoption of artificial intelligence and autonomous systems in the military field will be discussed. read more
