17543 camps held, 10,54013 public grievances resolved, 1,52,76,268 service delivery applications resolved on the first day of The Prasar Gaon Ki Mining Campaign

A total of 8,077 camps were held in Madhya Pradesh, 3,011 in Uttar Pradesh, 2,207 in Rajasthan, 1,041 in Chhattisgarh and 982 in Bihar.

“Shas an Gaon Ki Ore Abhiyan 2024” is India’s largest campaign to provide doorstep services and address public grievances.

In his message on the occasion of ‘Good Governance Week’, the Hon’ble Prime Minister said that what is most heartening is that the ‘Prasanna Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign continues to be a key component of Good Governance Week. ‘Prasanna Gaon Ki Ore’ is not just a slogan, but a transformative effort aimed at bringing effective governance closer to the rural people. This is a true essence of grassroots democracy, where development reaches the people. The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances is the nodal department for coordinating the nationwide Sasan Gaon Ki Ore 2024 campaign to be held from December 19 to 24, 2024.

On December 19, 2024, 18,543 camps were held in tehsil/panchayat headquarters, 1,52,76,268 service delivery applications resolved and 10,54,013 public grievances were resolved in 660 districts.

As part of this campaign, a dedicated portal called https://darpgapps.nic.in/GGW24 has been made operational.

As a part of this, a dedicated portal has been operational from December 10, 2024 https://darpgapps.nic.in/GGW24. Following is the data of participation of States/UTs/Districts as on the first day of the campaign i.e. read more  19.12.2024:

The ‘Shasan Gaon Ki Ore’ campaign will run from December 19 to 24, 2024. On December 23, 2024, a district-level outreach workshop will be held in which three good governance practices/initiatives of the district administration and improvement in service delivery will be discussed.

The drive is being carried out in all north-eastern states including Assam, Manipur, Tripura, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. The campaign also operates all union territories of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar, Lakshadweep, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu.
