On the occasion of India’s National Space Day, the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education in collaboration with NCERT, has released an e-journal ‘Sapno Ki Udaan’ to mark the first anniversary of chandrayaan-3’s landing on the moon’s south pole.
Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan unveiled the inaugural edition on a virtual platform. Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary attended the launch event virtually.

Speaking at the virtual launch of the e-magazine ‘Sapno Ki Udaan’, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan lauded the launch of e-magazine and said it will fulfill the recommendations of the #NEP2020 to make education affordable and equitable and prepare students for the global challenges of the 21st century. He added that the current content of the magazine ‘Space’ resonates with the enormity of our children’s imagination.
In his message, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Minister of State for Education, Shri Jayant Chaudhary mentioned how this day provides the right backdrop to celebrate the scientific achievements of the country. This effort will create a scientific temper among our students,” he said.

As of now, the e-magazine is on a quarterly basis, but over time it will become monthly, he said

Additional Secretary Bipin Kumar, NCERT Director Prof. D.P. Saklani were also present on the occasion. CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh, Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Education Prof Saroj Sharma, NIOS Chairman Prof Jyotsna Tiwari and other senior officials of the ministry were present.
The other dignitaries present also expressed satisfaction over the launch of the quarterly e-magazine at such an opportune moment and hoped that with the cooperation of all stakeholders, an outcome will be achieved which will be beneficial to all in the long run.
