Event Inauguration: Union Minister for Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, inaugurated the ICSSR Research Internship Programme in Social and Human Sciences in New Delhi.

Distribution of Appointment Letters: Appointment letters were distributed to the selected ICSSR Research Interns.

Essay Writing Competition: Shri Pradhan awarded prizes to winners of the National Argumentative Essay Writing Competition on “Simultaneous Elections in India: One Nation, One Election” for UG, PG, and Doctoral students.

Response to Internship Programme: The advertisement for the Research Internship Programme attracted a positive response with over 3600 applications.

Selection Process: After a rigorous selection process focusing on inclusivity, 40 candidates from various parts of the nation were selected as interns.

Internship Programme Focus: The Internship Programme will include workshops on skills necessary for research related to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the UN, contextualized by India’s G-20 presidency declaration. read more
