Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi presided over the two-day Collectors’ Conference held at Lok Sewa Bhawan Convention Centre and addressed everyone. On this occasion, the Chief Minister clarified the government’s stand and made the District Collectors aware of the many mistakes already occurring at the administrative level from his own experience and experience. The chief minister also advised government officials to give due respect to elected public representatives as per Book Circular 47.

It is very important that all the schemes of the government start on time and complete on time. In order to ensure that all the schemes are implemented on time, the district collectors should keep a close watch on the financial and physical progress in their respective districts on a daily basis. It also needs to conduct a block-wise quarterly review of each scheme. From this quarterly review, the district collector will be able to know all the problems and take the right steps to take the scheme on the right track. “If the government is spending a single rupee for the people, it is an income for them.
The chief minister asked the district collectors to examine all of them regarding irregularities and take necessary steps. The Chief Minister is confident that the district collectors will take appropriate action using them as the district collectors have the authority. The government will not tolerate corruption at any level, in any way. The chief minister asserted that there was no question of any compromise on corruption.

District collectors are grassroots bridges for the government (last mile connectivity). The government can make better plans and policies for the welfare of the people. But district collectors and district-level officials play a key role in taking these schemes to the final beneficiaries. If you leave out the capital or some urban areas, in the rest of the government, people understand the district collector, because in daily life, various problems are solved at the district level. Therefore, it is your responsibility to fulfill their aspirations,” the Chief Minister said.

The present government is the government of the people. We are partners in the happiness and sorrow of the people, we are committed to the development of the state. The government is taking steps to give priority to sectors such as agriculture, education, health, industry, infrastructure development in rural and urban areas and the upliftment of women and accelerate the pace of economic development of the state. It is only through your hard work and dedication that the benefits of all the initiatives will reach the people and our state will be the number one state, the Chief Minister said.
