The Central Electricity Authority (CEA) is actively monitoring the progress of the under-construction power projects through regular site visits, discussions with developers and regular review meetings with stakeholders. The aim of the effort is to identify and address the critical issues for timely commissioning of power projects. Going a step further towards monitoring these thermal power projects, this online thermal project monitoring portal has been developed to facilitate power project developers towards monitoring a digital process. NTPC has helped develop this portal.

Transparency and Accountability: Digitising the monitoring process ensures greater transparency in the management of the portal project, thereby resolving the issue on time, reducing time and cost, and increasing project execution efficiency.

Resource Optimization: This portal supports the availability of predictable resources, which helps meet the country’s electricity demand at a reasonable price, ultimately benefiting the consumer. In order to inform the stakeholders about the implementation of the portal, hand-held training sessions have been organized for all the project developers.
